Using Your Kiosk

Creating an Automatic Discount

You can create a new discount which applies automatically to all eligible orders. Only one auto-discount per location can be active. To create a new discount:

  1. Expand the Discounts section on the left side of the page on the console and select Auto DIscount. Click Create an Auto Discount.

  2. Select the location where the discount will be active and click Confirm.

  3. Name the promotion. It is useful to have a name which clearly communicates the intent behind the discount.

  4. Assign the promotion details. You can create either a percentage discount or a dollar-based discount, and you can limit the usage if you so choose. (i.e. If you want the promotion to be available only for the first 10 orders which are submitted and eligible.)

  5. Create any necessary rules. By default, the discount will be applied to the entire order. You can also choose specific items for which the discount applies. (i.e. You can choose to have a discount which is automatically applied only to sandwiches added to an order.)

  6. Select a Date Range for the discount. By default, the discount does not expire, so if you want the discount to be available for only a limited time, be sure to uncheck the box labeled Never Expires and set an End Date.

  7. Click Save.

Creating a Promo Code

Promo Codes

You can also create a promo code which is applied only to orders entering the code at checkout. This can be useful for printed materials and any online advertising you are running.

  1. Expand the DIscounts section on the left side of the page on the console and select Promo Code. Click Create a Promo Code.

  2. Select the location where the discount will be active and click Confirm.

  3. Create the Promo Code itself. This should be something intuitive that is easy for the customer to remember and input. For example, if you are celebrating one year of being in business, you may choose to run a birthday discount with the promo code BDAY.

  4. Create any additional parameters for the promo code, including the discount amount – either a dollar amount or a percentage. You can limit the number of times it can be used, whether it can be used multiple times by a single customer, and whether it applies to an entire order or only specific items in an order.

  5. Select a Date Range for the discount. By default, the discount does not expire, so if you want the discount to be available for only a limited time, be sure to uncheck the box labeled Never Expires and set an End Date.

  6. Click Save.
